DFRWS EU 2016 Location Information

DFRWS EU 2016 is being held at the University of Lausanne in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The conference will take place on the Unil main site, at the Quarter Unil-Sorge (http://www.unil.ch/acces/en/home/menuinst/unil.html).

Public Transportation

The Amphimax is located at the stop "Unil-Sorge" of the M1 metro.

Both metros, the M1 "Flon - Renens" and the M2 "Lausanne - Ouchy - Epalinges" act as a spine between the three sites of the UNIL Campus.

The intersection between the M2 and the M1 metro lines is at "Flon". Flon can be reached by either the Lausanne or Renens Railway Stations (The M2 connects to the Lausanne Railway Station. The M1 connects to the Renens Railway Station.)

Two possibilities to reach the Amphimax:

• From the Lausanne Railway Station, take the metro M2, in the direction of Epalinges, for one stop, to reach "Flon". From Flon, you have a direct connection with the metro M1 (direction Renens) to Unil-Sorge.
• From the Renens Railway Station, take the metro M1, direction Flon, and get out at the stop "Unil-Sorge" (the one just after "EPFL").

The stop for both hotels Starling and Swiss Tech is "EPFL" on the M1 metro. The EPFL stop and the Unil-Sorge stop are one after the other and are within walking distance.
