DFRWS

Dr. Parney Albright currently wears two large governmental hats. He is Assistant Director for Homeland and National Security in the Office of Science and Technology Policy and Senior Director for Research and Development Office of Homeland Security Executive Office of the President. Dr. Albright christened the 2002 proceedings with a description of the newly sanctioned Department of Homeland Defense. He discussed the composition of this new agency and gave the audience a glimpse of how digital forensic research and development would fit into the evolving structure.
